Botox May Limit Chronic Teeth Grinding
There may be a new method to combat teeth grinding.
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston recently tested Botox and its impact on teeth grinding. This problem impacts about 10 percent of Americans while they’re sleeping and mouthguards may not fully solve the problem.
Early indications are that some of the headaches and jaw pain that people experience have subsided after being treated with Botox. The only early side effect is jaw weakness.
